Through our online shop, you can easily search for the domain name you wish to register to see if it is available. The price is displayed as soon as availability has been checked, and if the domain is available, you can register it straight away in just a few minutes. If you already own a domain name that you wish to transfer to us, the process is the same: enter the domain name in the search box and select the option to transfer it. You’ll need a transfer code (also known as an auth code or EPP code) from your current provider in order to complete the transfer.
When it’s time to renew your domain name, you’ll receive a reminder by email well in advance. Please note that you’ll also need one of our hosting packages to be able to use the domain name for a WordPress or WooCommerce website. If, instead, you wish to use an external service such as Wix or Squarespace, you can purchase our add-on services: DNS hosting or email hosting. This will give you access to our control panel, but with more limited access compared to a standard hosting package.

Your website is the house itself: it’s the walls, the furniture, the paintings, and the different rooms that visitors encounter when they step through the door. It’s simply everything that makes your business unique and welcoming online.
That’s why you always need both an address (domain name) and a server (hosting) for your website and email to work.

Tips for Registering a .com Domain Name
Competition for the world’s largest top-level domain is fierce. Here are five strategic tips and global rules you should know before registering your .com address for your online store:
Act quickly if the name is available: Over 160 million .com domains have already been registered worldwide. If you find that your desired name is available in our search function, we recommend that you secure it right away, since popular addresses can be registered by someone else at any time.
Protect Your Finnish Brand Globally: Even if your main market is Finland and you currently use a .fi domain, owning the .com version as well is a very inexpensive safeguard. It prevents international domain squatters from buying the name in an attempt to sell it to you at a high price, or from deceiving your customers by posing as your business.
Global character and email rules: A .com domain can be between 2 and 63 characters long. Although it is technically possible to register a .com domain with the characters å, ä, and ö, we strongly advise against doing so. International email systems and customers outside Sweden have great difficulty handling these characters, which can result in your emails not being delivered.
Strict 60-Day Rules for Transfers: According to ICANN’s global rules, a .com domain is locked for 60 days following a new registration or a transfer of ownership. During this period, the domain cannot be transferred to another web host or registrar. Therefore, please plan your transfer to us well in advance.
Check the spelling and confirm your purchase: Double-check the spelling one more time at checkout. Since registration takes place directly with the global top-level domain registry, you cannot change or cancel the purchase afterward. The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to domain names.

Unlike Finnish domains, which are often transferred immediately, .com transfers are governed by strict global security regulations (ICANN). When you initiate a transfer, your previous provider must approve it, which, according to the regulations, can take up to 5–7 days. However, your current website and email will continue to function without any interruption throughout the entire waiting period.
Yes, this is extremely important. According to international regulations, anyone who registers a .com domain must verify their email address. Shortly after your purchase, you will receive an automated email containing a verification link. You must click that link within 14 days; otherwise, the domain will be temporarily locked by the global registry until verification is complete.
You or your company are 100% responsible for this. We act solely as your domain broker. The domain is registered in your name using the contact information you provide at checkout, and you have full legal ownership of the address.
